twitter is down, so...
One of my Facebook friends posted an update to say that the sun starts setting later in the day as of tomorrow.
I have no desire to verify whether this is true or not, I will just choose to believe it.
We’re on our way out!

This weekend, someone told me I look like Mary Louise Parker. That may even be better than when two different people asked me if I was Kara Goucher at the Philly Marathon expo.

3:41:30, and not miserable! I’m inching closer and closer to the OBQ (old Boston Qualifier), which is a more reasonable first-goal than getting a new BQ anytime soon.

listen to me talk in NYC!
If you or someone you love is running the NYC Marathon this year, you should come to the Ask the Editors panel at the expo on Saturday at 2 p.m. It’s at the ING Runner Lounge, Booth #318.
Because I’m one of the editors you can ask!
More impressive folks like Bart Yasso will be there too.
Come say hi! Good luck to all running!
It's NYC Marathon Week!
runnersworld:

And if you’re in the area, here are details on where to find us and say hi. (We’d love to see you!)

3:32:15
That’s the marathon time the RW Training Calculator tells me I can run, based on my 1:41:48 half in February. (Which I hadn’t even really trained properly for. And I’ve run two marathons since.)
I just need to keep that in mind. If I’m capable of a 3:32, a 3:35 should feel like cake, right?
Ha. Ha.

Guys. Liliya Shobukhova is pretty insane. She had an amazing sprint finish to become the second-fastest woman in history (2:18:20) behind Paula Radcliffe.
I think I need to invest in some white compression socks. Shobukhova and Shalane Flanagan have both rocked them. Maybe I’ll drop an hour plus off my finish time if I wear ‘em.
