The coffee maker I got for my first apartment before my junior year of college has finally bitten the dust.
It wasn’t working properly yesterday when I got back from my run. I had set it to brew while I was out. It usually takes about four minutes for one cup; it had been going for about 10 minutes when I got to it, only half a cup had brewed, and the whole machine was really, really hot.

I am thinking about starting a “real blog” that I can show people to prove I can write.
(I will obviously keep my Tumblr because it is awesome, and because it is the best way to put a bunch of photos and videos and audio files on the internet with little to no thought.)

2011: 3 (planned so far - Orlando in February, San Fran/Big Sur in April, Barcelona in June)
Granted, all my scheduled trips this year are somewhat (or completely) work-related, but whatever. Fun will still be had.

An exciting feature of the new apartment is that, if I put my GPS watch on the windowsill and turn it on, it picks up the satellites from inside.
This means no more standing around outside in my running gear staring at my watch for one to two very long minutes before runs. This is extra convenient in this cold weather. The ol’ Garmin might be getting a lot more use now!
