HAHA I totally had a pair of these as a kid! They totally did not work! I am sure they would have, if I had been trying to sled down a really good, really steep hill with snow that had been packed down and smoothed out pretty well. But I usually just sledded down the tiny hill next to my house, and I was the only one using it.

Speaking of sledding, today I was wearing my winter jacket and I was like, “What is this crap on the back of my coat?” I tried to brush it off but it did not budge. And then I remembered it is the mark from where I hit the tree sledding last winter. NEVER SLEDDING AGAIN. At least not down a hill with trees at the bottom. (Duh.)

I need to stop waiting so long to make haircut appointments.

I always wait until I am like “OH MY GOD MY HAIR LOOKS LIKE CRAP MUST GET IT CUT IMMEDIATELY.” And that’s why I always end up going to some crappy place at the mall and getting a crappy haircut that still looks like crap, but shorter.

(Well, I liked my last haircut, even though it was a mall haircut. But, I can’t remember who did it, and I cannot take the risk of going to someone random after the uneven mess of a haircut I got in May.)

This time, though, I am going to go to Silver Shears, which is a real salon. Except I have to wait a whole week and a half to do so, since that was their first Saturday appointment. And I am planning to be at the mall on Friday for some Christmas shopping.

Must…resist…urge…to get….mall haircut….just because it’s convenient.
